Product Description:

2,4-Dichloro-3,5-Dimethylphenol (DCMX) is a safe antiseptic and antibacterial agent with a solubility of 0.2g/L in water at 20°C. It is soluble in alkaline water and easily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, ether and ketone. It has a bactericidal effect on most gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, tubercle bacilli and molds.
